lyrics
Watch as entire cities fall within minutes
The structures collapse upon the very foundation that they were built
Hand over your minds
I have claimed your hollow shells as mine
Vaporizing your minds and claiming your bodies
to live out the remainder of your days as my slaves
Feeble human minds will never be able to understand
I intend to devour this fucking world
Send your prayers into the sky as you watch your families die
Hopelessly trying to resist my will
The Human Corpse Pile lies still
Earth becomes a holding ground for rotting flesh
i have returned to remove all traces of life
to remove the human parasite
curse my name and doubt my reign
you will see the devastation
that an elder god can bring
pandemonium spreads:
the earth itself trembles
Relinquish all thoughts of resistance
Fall to your knees and bow to me
Be thankful for life given to you from me
Fuck
I, Humanity's King,
I, The Great Unforeseen.
I, The Dark Being,
I, Extinction
The Flood
Engulfs the world
Inhaling the corpses to
R'lyeh
Madness
With my minions
Spilling from my open mouth,
We spread throughout earth
To cleanse this plague

Symphonic stuff in metal doesn’t make its way into my collection aside from a couple of early Cradle albums. The orch here though just ads to how huge this band sounds. It makes elements in the songs more immersive. There are plenty of breaks from orchestration where its in deathcore/slamming brutality mode. While not ignorant, the songs never play with time or get mathy making it accessible and memorable. Came out 2015? Impressed. Mitch Mitcherson

Two impressive vocalists, variable and skilled guitarists and a tight and very powerful rhythm section. That plus the ability to write a song really leaves nothing left to desire here. mourner
