lyrics
Feeble minds unable to comprehend
Lines have blurred between reality and pretend
those who have survived have lost their minds
Better off dead than helpless inside
Worthless humans reduced to vermin
the alpha predator has lost it's throne
They have retaken the planet that we thought we owned
Removing the threads that humanity has sewn
And the cultists revel in their victory
they have brought extinction to their own race
Used as pawns, they will join their brothers in flesh
To look into their eyes is to turn yourself blind.
horrific and with relentless malignancy,
They drive the human cattle into their open mouths,
devouring this useless world for their own
"That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons, even death may die."
The star spawn have arrived to do their lord's bidding
reshaping our failed cities in their own image
reclaiming what is left as their prize
Parasitic life created to die
Worthless humans reduced to vermin
the alpha predator has lost it's throne
They have retaken the planet that we thought we owned
Removing the threads that humanity has sewn
Relinquish your minds
Your lives are mine
Rebirth brings your ruination
Unrelentless Expiration x2
Eyes cast upon an unimaginable catastrophe
Those that remain hopelessly wander in blasphemy
Abandoned by the gods that they gave their lives for
You all placed your faith in puppets of our creation
insignificant and unable to understand
They bring their wrath to this forgotten land
The Great Old Ones rise from their stone houses
Rising to the surface to reclaim their crown
Waging their war against mankind
Driving these pathetic lifeforms to extinction
Succumbing To Insanity
The End of Humanity
Refit for reprogrammability
Enslaving those with asininity
Great Cthulhu has awoken from his slumber
Plunging Earth into inexorable thunder

Symphonic stuff in metal doesn’t make its way into my collection aside from a couple of early Cradle albums. The orch here though just ads to how huge this band sounds. It makes elements in the songs more immersive. There are plenty of breaks from orchestration where its in deathcore/slamming brutality mode. While not ignorant, the songs never play with time or get mathy making it accessible and memorable. Came out 2015? Impressed. Mitch Mitcherson

Two impressive vocalists, variable and skilled guitarists and a tight and very powerful rhythm section. That plus the ability to write a song really leaves nothing left to desire here. mourner
